We enjoy following howdifferent industries and organizations are looking at the future. Seeing different forecast perspectives helps us understand the future of small business.
A good example is KnowledgeWorks, a non-profit group focused on education. They produce and update a long term forecast of the trends and shifts impacting education. They recently released a forecast update of the 2020 Education forecast.
They even have a blog on the Future of Education. I like their tagline:
“The future of education will be a customized, connected, amplified, authentic, resilient and relevant world of learning.”
Sounds like a huge improvement over todays educational system. Lets hope they are right.
